Chapter 4 is a simulation you play. Create an applicant, fill a wallet with verifiable credentials, then apply to two jobs that look alike: one posted by a Verified Employer, one by an organisation the network has never authorised. Everything runs live against the Verana testnet, and every QR is minted at the moment it appears.
Always verify the certified organisation name and data shown in the Proof-of-Trust card in your wallet before proceeding.
Participation in the demonstrator is free. It runs on the Verana testnet, and no party charges a fee for joining, issuing or verifying within it.
What the sector consumed, the sector now provides
BHI governs who may participate in hiring, not what a degree is, not who is entitled to work. OfDIA keeps certification, issuers keep their schemas, candidates keep their credentials. The Recruitment Trust Network adds the one missing piece: a machine-checkable answer, at the moment of asking, to “is this a legitimate employer, and is this a recognised provider in UK hiring?”
